The Center partners with the VNA and offers private and confidential HIV/AIDS testing; Parents as Teachers public health initiative; chronic diseases, ovarian cancer, vision health, women’s reproductive health, colorectal, breast cancer, healthy habits for children, heart disease, diabetes prevention, pregnancy prevention.
We work with Healthy Families New Jersey linking new mothers and their babies to healthcare services, emotional support, and pre and post-natal support.
Horizon NJ Health offers women’s and adolescent health workshops through the FSC.
RWJ/Barnabas conducts on-site screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and BMI. Together we offer women’s health awareness, bi-lingual nutrition, and on-site rapid HIV testing and counseling.
NJSNap offers Eat Smart Be Active and Cooking Matters Pop-up Store.
Dr. Ranuka Verma and her pediatric residents at RWJ/Barnabas teach children’s mental health, baby care basics, child abuse prevention, autism, safety, pneumonia prevention, bullying, and positive parenting.
