Programs
PARENT EDUCATION, WORKSHOPS,
AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH
We foster the family’s self reliance and internal balance through direct outreach, referrals from other organizations, and in-house classes and workshops, in English and Spanish. We nurture families and focus on literacy, life skills, and parent knowledge through evidence-based programs and relationship growth between parents and children.
We promote community wellbeing by encouraging behaviors that lead to healthier, more prosperous opportunities for families. Our measurement tools include post surveys and pre and post-tests to gauge increased knowledge of parenting as well as follow-up with parents to document how FSC programs have affected their behavior, lifestyle, and relationship with their children. We partner with organizations to help families grow stronger from the inside out.
